Welcome to The Royal Eastbourne Golf Club website
Nestling under the South Downs The Royal Eastbourne Golf Club offers all golfers from the beginner to the low handicapper, a truly great golfing experience. Set within 130 acres of chalk downland with panoramic views in every direction, the beautifully maintained greens and fairways on both the Hartington and Devonshire courses provide the perfect environment for golf. Great golf courses, great scenery and great clubhouse facilities.
Founded in 1887, The Royal Eastbourne is a traditional members' club situated within the South Downs National Park and caters for all levels of handicap. Comprising 27 holes of challenging golf, both the Devonshire and Hartington Courses are maintained to the very highest standards. Built on chalk with excellent drainage, we rarely see the courses closed allowing quality golf to be played throughout the whole year.
In recent years, our friendly clubhouse has been substantially modernised for your comfort and relaxation. A new sun terrace with magnificient views across the course and out to sea, a comfortable restaurant and bar complimented by modern and well equipped kitchen, together with excellent menus and friendly staff make dining at The Royal a truly great experience.
